Body Butter Recipe

You might think I’m crazy for giving away my secret body butter formula. The reality is body butters are incredibly easy to make yourself. Just pick a few of your favorite oils & butters (research ingredients based on your personal healing needs). <3 Find a quality table or hand mixer and get to whipping! Sooo you wanna know how we make our luscious butters? HERE IT IS!! >>

  1. add your favorite oils to a mixing bowl (shea butter, cocoa butter & coconut oil)

  2. double boil your oils until liquid (oils lose essential properties if overheated)

  3. once melted completely; cover, set on countertop, add to fridge, or for quicker results place in freezer until oil is solid (this process typically takes up to 2 hours). Leave out overnight if solidifying at room temp.

  4. once the oil is solid but still soft add it into your mixing bowl and prepare to whip

  5. start at a low setting until oil is malleable and broken down (break up smaller pieces with stainless steel spatula before whipping)

  6. once softened increase speed incrementally as you create your desired consistency

  7. on your highest mixing setting leave for 20-30 minutes until fluffy and free of clumps

  8. avoid overmixing as this will flatten your butter and create a more liquid consistency

  9. add your desired essential oils for fragrance

  10. once whipped to your desired texture add to a sterilized glass jar with a lid for proper storage

  11. store in a cool & dry environment to increase shelf life and quality

  12. keep your body butter free clean by using a mini spoon or spatula when using product
