Market in the Alley
This is where it all began. I first started making body butter for my coworkers at a quaint vegan cafe in downtown Las Vegas. They loved it and encouraged me to expand my business and open an online platform to promote my products. So I created my Instagram page -> @bodybutterbybrianna. Then I opened my Etsy shop (which is no longer active). I really wanted a further reach into the local community. I knew there was a growing interest in health wellness and a vegan lifestyle. It was the perfect opportunity to introduce my take on natural skincare fit for the dry desert climate. Anyway after I was inspired by the local small business markets I decided to try my hand. A little hesitant I applied for my first pop up market “Market in the Alley.”
I was impressed by the creativity and dedication of local businesses. It was surely the place for me to grow and find my community. From vintage clothing to vegan food and baked goods I was seriously in my own paradise. Thanks to the beautiful ladies in charge at Ferguson’s Motel I became confident enough in myself and my products. If you haven’t already visited one of these markets you definitely need to! They’re incredible and super exciting to see what folks in your own city are creating. From artists, makers, bakers, cooks, and performers you’ll easily find something to love. You can find me there as well, find upcoming market dates at marketinthealley.com.
